Services include flat packing/disassembling of furniture as required, piano moving, disconnection of washing machines and other white goods. We are careful movers and specialise in the transportation of antiques, artworks, pianos and delicate pieces. Professional packing service
We are expert packers and skilled in the art of wrapping and packing delicate items, artworks and antiques.
It saves you time and allows you to get on with other things while your house is packed up for you. In line with our ‘careful handling’ ethos we will expertly wrap, package and protect your things to ensure they survive transit unblemished.
Our packing service includes:
- Supply of boxes, tape, biodegradable bubble wrap, recycled wrapping paper, air pillows, biodegradable void fill & Furniguard™ protective wrapping.
- Careful wrapping and boxing of chinaware, glasses and crockery
- Careful wrapping and crating of pictures and mirrors
- Bespoke crates for larger fragile items
- Wardrobe boxes for hanging garments
- Single item boxes with void fill for delicate pieces

Furniture
Delicate, highly polished, painted or antique furniture is treated with the utmost care by us. We use a variety of methods to wrap and protect your furniture including reusable Strongwrap™ protective covers, Export wrap (double laminate paper and fibre combination) and Furniguard™ (specialist extra strength bubble wrap for furniture).
Antiques & breakables
We have specially made shipping crates to store smaller antique items and breakables. Smaller items will either be boxed with biodegradable void fill or air pillows and crated or blanket wrapped and crated to ensure safe transit.
Artworks
Pictures and paintings will be stored together in sealed crates with cardboard inserts for protection. Valuable or highly fragile paintings and artworks can be stored in bespoke, single item crates with foam inserts.
Packing Materials and Supplies
We can supply you with everything you need to pack your belongings safely and will also offer free packing advice and tips.
We can supply:
- XL boxes (24” cubes) for large but light or delicate items
- Large Boxes (18” cubes)
- Small/Book boxes (18”x 12” x 12”)
- Bubble wrap
- Tape
- Wrapping paper
- Acid free tissue paper (for silver & for oil paintings)
- Furniguard™ (for delicate furniture and oil paintings)
- Void Fill (to fill gaps in boxes to protect items and stop them moving in transit)
