I cannot recommend Barleycorn Removals highly enough. Chris and his team are unfailingly positive and professional, and take such care with your belongings. I have used the company on three occasions now and each time they have made an otherwise stressful day so much more manageable. It is clear that Chris only recruits employees with the highest of standards (as seen in their excellent customer service skills) and, having used other removal firms in the past, I cannot tell you the difference it makes when the teams smile and show good humour. We can’t rate Barleycorn Removals high enough. Chris’s team made moving so easy, even when the chain failed to complete. Chris was calm and ever so helpful, during what was a very stressful time. His team were very efficient, punctual and very courteous and a pleasure to deal with they were also very patient, sat around most of the day waiting to unload, to be told that unloading wasn’t going to happen. Barleycorn Removals also helped store our household, while we waited for completion, and managed to squeeze us in at the earliest opportunity in their busy schedule. Great removals firm.

Barleycorn removals were faultless. We found them through Which and they were the middle price of the three companies we got quotes from. They packed up our four bed house for us, with two small children running around their feet and were without fail accommodating, patient, professional and friendly. They were also incredibly efficient, packing quickly with common sense to leave enough furniture and households items for our last night. On moving day, again they packed efficiently, dismantling our furniture including our daughters play house (which other removal companies wouldn’t do). Unpacking in our new house was so quick, with everything going where we asked it and boxes left in sensible places so we could access the rooms easily. They were accommodating with some furniture shuffling and reassembled the aforementioned playhouse. They were done in three hours which meant we had plenty of time to get ready for the children's bedtime- something that made a huge difference to us. We discovered not a single breakage after unpacking every box and they even helped move some furniture two weeks later when they collected the boxes. They really know what they’re doing and we wouldn’t use or consider recommending anyone else. I’d also say they’re excellent value for money given the quality of service. Seriously impressive.
